Stick Fish Traps

This is a great age-old Native American fish trapping skill. It’s best used in tidal oceans rivers or creeks.

The concept is to funnel finish into an area where it’s hard for them to find the behavior back out, it’s the same hypothesi behind a minnow catch or soda bottle move trap

Drive posts side by side into the bottom in shallow water to create a square or fenced in area of sorts in the spray. Make sure the open death of the move is on the downstream side where the water is being forced into the opening. Other substances can be used to construct this bait such as rock-and-rolls, but this is the most effective and allows for structure it in slightly deeper spray. One deception is the establishment of it starting at one side of the bank and widening out squandering trhe slope of the bank as a barricade and forcing fish towards your trap

It’s a great and simple trap that allows you to catch the fish by hand or bayonet them formerly they find themselves in your capture. You’ll be amazed at how effective this survival fish bait really is, even small-scale ones design pretty well.
